Triple C Enterprise is seeking to hire hard-working Production & Quality Supervisor in a Pallet Repair Facility in Lakeland, FL.

Starts at $21-$22/hr

GENERAL SUMMARY

This position will supervise all day-to-day operations of approximately 20 workers, conduct and oversee the quality auditing process and ensure efficient receiving and shipping operations within a pallet repair and sorting facility.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Intermediate computer skills with use of Email, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience supervising and directing a workforce with little or no supervision
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a production environment
  • Experience working with outside contractors and drivers
  • Knowledge of inventory systems preferred
  • Requires demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and communication
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct daily supervision of facility associates to ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the facility.
  • Interact with management and the customer on a daily basis to achieve unified goals
  • Ensure quality builds on pallets by overseeing daily sorting and repair audits
  • Develop and implement shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments
  • Direct and supervise all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure proper counts, timely unloading and loading and efficient operations.
  • Audit daily production and inventory levels and conduct daily physical inventories
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records of inventories, maintenance and audits
  • Walk the warehouse regularly to evaluate operations, solve problems, and answer questions
  • Make recommendations to the Operation Site Manager on ways to improve pallet facility operations and maintenance functions
  • Monitor wear or damage to equipment and the facility to inform management
  • Apply sound techniques in supervising and coaching employees
  • Assist in the verification of payroll and time keeping
  • Assist with training of associate
  • Demonstrate application of company safety policies and procedures ensuring warehouse is neat and well organized, reporting safety hazards and encouraging others to work safely
  • Operate in compliance with OSHA and other appropriate standards
  • Attend and/or conduct planning and safety meetings
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to deal with stressful situations, meeting deadlines and tight scheduling requirements
  • Have the ability to withstand loud noises and multiple distractions
  • Must be able to shift priorities easily
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Extraordinary customer service skills
  • Must be prompt and on time and have good attendance record
  • Available to work overtime and weekends if and when needed
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures of hot, cold and/or dry environments
  • Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods on concrete or hard surfaces
  • Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
  • Requires periods during which continuous physical exertion is required such as climbing and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds without assistance and 100+ pounds with assistance and using proper lifting techniques

Once selected for hire, successful candidates will be required to:
